Used to hang out on these boards a year or two ago, but it looks as if most of my old posts have been aged out of existence. Alas.
At any rate... I'm also known as "Clever Lass" over at FFN, and a bunch of folks here used to read and enjoy my phanfic. Especially "Letters to Erik," which was very popular.
It was so popular, in fact, that several of my readers asked me to have it published. I have done so. I took the last year and a half to revise it, improve it, and get it published. And now that it's done and has been recently released, I can calm down, hang out with you guys again, and have some phun!

Oh. My. God. You wrote Denouement right? CC (who used to post regularly but last time I heard from her she was busy with becoming a doctor) and I squeed a lot over that fic back in the day. *sigh* Thank you.

Last I heard, she was visiting family in London over the summer and took some time off from that to unsuccessfully hunt for "that crazy Yank with the dogs" while he was touring with Barbra Streisand.

Hi, Bek! Yes, I wrote "Denouement." That one started out a fluff experiment and ended up a full-fledged story with a plot, a climax, an epilogue, and everything!
I'm so glad you and CC liked it! That was one of my favorites to write. Did you know that my friend Ripper de la Blackstaff drew many, many illustrations for Denouement? I'll give you links, if you haven't seen them yet. She has a light, comic-like style that's very enjoyable.
There's such a dearth of Kopit/Yeston fics on there that I felt I had to write one that gave poor Erik a happier ending.
And there's quite a dearth of truly Leroux-based fics on there -- I mean real, hard-core Leroux, with no Kay influences and no stinkin' Webber influences -- that I wrote "Letters to Erik" to try and fill the gap... and yes, to give poor Erik a happier ending.
